Toddler Specialty Summer Programs

Summer is a time for kids to be kids. At the Y our Specialty Summer Programs are a great way for young children ages 2-4 years old to explore and discover new interests. Children develop new friendships and have tons of fun in a safe environment. Programs run 3 days a week, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 9:30AM – 11:30AM . These camps are great for tiny campers who might not be quite ready for a full camp experience but are ready to start slow! Each week will have a different theme for weekly learning and activities.  

  • Ages: 2 – 4 *toilet training not required 
  • Days: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday  
  • Time: 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM 
  • Location: Greenknoll Branch, Huisking Room
  • Price per week: $120 per week for members 
        • $180 per week for non-members
  • *Space is limited to 12 children.

Week 1 (June 16–18)
All Things Camp
Experience all the best parts of camp—campfires, s’mores, tents, outdoor games, picnics, and plenty of nature fun!

Week 2 (June 23–25)
A Bug’s Life
Discover the fascinating world of insects like ants, spiders, and bumblebees while learning about these tiny creatures and building curiosity (and courage!).

Week 3 (June 30–July 2)
America the Beautiful
Celebrate Fourth of July week with patriotic fun, games, and crafts inspired by red, white, and blue.

Week 4 (July 7–9)
Summer Safari
Set off on a wild adventure as we explore animals from around the world through games, crafts, and imaginative play.

Week 5 (July 14–16)
Creative Artist
Kids will unleash their creativity by experimenting with different art materials and techniques—dress for mess and lots of fun!

Week 6 (July 21–23)
Mini Chefs
Little chefs will create tasty treats while learning about food, flavors, and simple kitchen skills.

Week 7 (July 28–30)
Under the Sea
Dive into ocean exploration as we learn about sea creatures, plants, and the amazing underwater world.

Week 8 (August 4–6)
Superheroes in Training
Calling all heroes! Each day we’ll discover a new superhero through action-packed games, creative art projects, and heroic stories. ‍

Week 9 (August 11–13)
Tiny Gardener
Dig in and grow! Children will explore flowers, plants, and gardening basics while connecting with nature.
