Allison Goduti

Personal Trainer

I’m not a former athlete or someone who’s always been active. In fact, for most of my life, I struggled with my weight and my relationship with food. Two years ago, with the guidance of a personal trainer, a consistent strength training routine, and healthy eating, I lost over 100 pounds. That journey changed more than just my body; it changed my life. It showed me the power of small, sustainable habits, of showing up for yourself even when it’s hard, and of having someone in your corner who believes in you.

Before becoming a personal trainer, I worked as a licensed psychotherapist. That background gives me a unique perspective on behavior change, motivation, and the emotional side of health and fitness. I know how overwhelming it can feel to start, to stumble, or to not know what your next step should be. My mission is to help others navigate those moments and reach their full potential. Whether you’re looking to build strength, lose fat, feel better in your body, or just get started, I’ll meet you where you are and help move forward toward your goals.

In addition to personal training, she also works in the childcare department here at the YMCA. “The most important thing I can say about myself is that the YMCA has become my second home. Every morning I get here, everyone is very kind and I feel at home. I like to lift weights. I love exercise. It’s my best therapy. I like to help others.”  Gina is very kind, sociable, and always has a smile for whoever needs one. Exercise, nutrition, and helping people are some of her passions and are the reason that she enjoys her time at the YMCA

Linda Verrilli

Personal Trainer

The fitness bug started for Linda at an early age of seven, where she was bouncing around the gymnasium floors doing gymnastics. During middle and high school, she continued with both activities which lead her into the world of fitness. As her high school years were ending, Linda decided to join a woman’s only gym in her town. She loved the rush of the workouts and became a permanent fixture there. The owner’s daughter pulled her aside after a class and said she was so impressed with her form and focus and offered her a job teaching classes. She jumped on the opportunity and is so thankful she did. She was able to explore her passion for fitness which has become a way of life for her. As Linda focused on nourishing and transforming her own life, she decided she wanted to help others do the same. “Fitness is not about just lifting weights. It’s about stretching, eating healthy, warming up and getting rest. Our bodies are capable to adapting with just enough hard work. I look to achieve a well-balanced lifestyle while minimizing the risk of future health related issues. I want to help you achieve that too!” Linda is NASM certified as well as spin certified.
